The astrological constellation Ophiuchus is also referred to as “the Serpent-Bearer.” Ophiuchus is not commonly regarded as a sign of the zodiac, like many other constellations. Although the sun does pass through Ophiuchus during the year, some astrologers believe it to be the 13th sign of the zodiac. If it were included in the zodiac, it would be placed before Sagittarius because Ophiuchus is usually where the sun moves from late November to mid-December.
