What are startup icons?
The majority of people today understand the term “icon” to mean a small selectable or nonselectable image pointing to or symbolizing something else on a computer’s graphical user interface (GUI) or on the web.
An icon is a person or entity that is highly appreciated, particularly for having a significant impact or significance in a particular field. This definition is the original and is still in use today. Greek words like or eikenai, which mean “to seem or to seem like,” are the origin of the word icon. Religious artwork from the Eastern Orthodox Church was frequently used as context.
An icon in today’s context is an image on a computer screen that stands in for an application, a feature, or another idea or distinct entity that has meaning for the user. On a computer running a Microsoft or Apple operating system, for example, the icon for the recycling bin, or the area where files go when they are removed, is represented by an image of a small trash can.

Free DownloadThe startup icons that you could want to alter based on your requirements. We’ll walk you through the process of updating and personalizing the template’s icons.
Icon typefaces are used in the template. Startup icon fonts can be styled using CSS in the same manner as text fonts because they use symbols and glyphs rather than letters or numbers. Because they scale effectively (changing a symbol’s size doesn’t affect its visual quality), and because styling icons is as simple as decorating text, icon fonts are a better approach to add icons to your website than raster pictures (PNG, JPEG, GIF, etc.).
The tutorial will mostly focus on using Startup icons because that’s what the startup template uses, but we’ll also demonstrate how to utilize other icon fonts and SVG icons.
