As a result, creating content for Reels is quicker, simpler, and kept within the app; you no longer need to modify Reels elsewhere.

- Use Templates in the Video Editor to Repurpose an Existing Reel #1
Tap the camera symbol on the Reels page, then slide over to the “Templates” tab in the video editor.
You can use the several Reels concepts presented here to develop your own.
Tap “Use Template” after finding a template you like. A request to add files from your camera roll will appear:

A “Use template” sticker icon will display above the name of the creator for Reels that have templates available:
Choose “Use as template” from the three-dot menu as an alternative:
Once chosen, the time stamps for each clip in a Reel will be visible. Tap “Add media” to replace the clips with ones from your camera roll.

NOTE: Only Reels containing several clips that have been edited together within Instagram are eligible for Reels Templates. If a video has been entirely altered outside of the Instagram app, the time stamps for each clip cannot be distinguished by Instagram.
